Ra Ra Riot is an American Indie rock band from Syracuse, New York, consisting of a male vocalist, bassist, guitarist, drummer, and violinist with a baroque pop/rock sound. Passion Pit is an American indietronica/synthpop band from Cambridge, Massachusetts with popular songs such as, “Sleepyhead”, “The Reeling”, “Carried Away”, and “Take a Walk.” They have remixed other artists; however, they have attained a high degree of remix swag when it comes to this song.
Brace yourself for a tropical disco experience. Niki & The Dove are an indietronica duo from Stockholm, Sweden. “Mother Protect” is a track off their debut studio album, Instinct, released August 2012. Established remixer and Los Angeles native Goldroom (Josh Legg) elevates the track by adding tropical textures and dreamy disco infused rhythms. London Grammar is an electro/indie-pop trio from Nottingham, England. Their music has been described as “a blend of ambient, ethereal and classical sounds” with emotionally driven guitar, vocals, and lyrics. Lead singer Hannah Reid‘s powerful voice has previously been compared to the fabulous Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine. JOBE, another artist from the UK, gives this song a deep house remake with thumping drums, brooding vocals, and a rumbling bassline guaranteed to initiate shivers. The original of this track is featured on London Grammar‘s debut album, If You Wait, released September 9th. They are also performing tonight at the Troubadour in West Hollywood with Jaymes Young.
The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, is a 23 year old singer-songwriter that has been shaking up the R&B scene since 2010. This Canadian native’s musical artistry is rooted in an unconventional R&B style, placing emphasis on his falsetto voice, slow tempos, rumbling bass, and influences from alternative and indie music. Pharrell Williams gives this track a funky fresh remix with a Neptune-esque production that oozes class and sex appeal. “Wanderlust” is part of Abel‘s debut studio album, Kiss Land, released September 10th.
The classic 90′s dance hit, “Rhythm Of The Night” by Corona is revived into a progressive house masterpiece by EDM extraordinaire Morgan Page. The genius of this track stems from the combination of surreal vocals from Bastille‘s Dan Smith along with Page‘s bumping bassline and dance club drops.

This track off her most recent album, Wounded Rhymes (2011), remixed by Belgian producer The Magician, has been a huge club success in Europe, taking the track to number 1 in Romania, number 2 in Ireland and number 7 in Greece.
