This electro reggae jam by British synth-pop band Hot Chip is taken to the next level by Diplo’s DJ project, Major Lazer. Their style can be characterized by combining components of electronic, reggae, dancehall, moombahton, dubstep, and trap. The remix is featured on Major Lazer‘s mixtape, Major Lazer Strikes Back, Vol. 1. Also check out their second full length album, Free The Universe, released April 2013, featuring collaborations with Vampire Weekend‘s Ezra Koenig, Dirty Projectors‘ Amber Coffman, Tyga, Flux Pavilion, Bruno Mars, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, and more. Major Lazer will also be performing this Saturday, October 19th, at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco.
