Their sound can be described as indie pop with some dark wave elements. “Hurricane” is the title track from their debut album, Secondhand Rapture, released May 14, 2013. This British band recently broke through main stream American radio with their song, “Pompeii.” As much as I enjoy the poppy quality and men’s choir voices in the background, this Monsieur Adi remix is colossally better! The French electronic producer leaves the captivating vocals of lead singer Dan Smith untouched, while putting an EDM character to the song with a prominent Justice vibe. Bastille‘s debut studio album, Bad Blood, was released in the UK back in March. Today their album is released in the US; unfortunately, this remix is not on it.
