There is no stopping Progressive House wizard and world’s number one DJ, Armin van Buuren! This track, featuring Canadian singer/songwriter Trevor Guthrie, is the second track on Armin‘s fifth studio album, Intense, released May 3rd. Rising EDM Dutch duo W&W remixed the addictive rock/pop/dance track with their signature drops, worthy of sold-out arenas and massive festival proportions.
Some of you may have noticed the Lana Del Rey remixes are quite abundant; however, I assure you this remix is the cream of the crop. Lana Del Rey, aka Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, has become a bit of a pop culture icon in a short amount of time. With her classic beauty appeal and edgy lyrics, this singer/songwriter describes herself as a ”self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra” and “Lolita lost in the hood.” Reich & Bleich, the producers from Germany put a progressive house spin on the track. The depressing tone of the original is uplifted into a joyous, dance infused electronic listen suitable for parties and night long escapades. Check out the rest of her second studio album, Born To Die, released back in January 2012.
According to Rolling Stone Magazine, “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons is the biggest rock hit of the year! With a world tour under their belt, appearances on major late night television shows, and artistic influences like Arcade Fire, Muse, and The Bealtes, these rockers from Las Vegas are blowing up across countless musical platforms. As the second single released from their debut studio album, Night Visions, “Radioactive” gets a progressive house rework from New York DJ dBerrie. This powerful revolutionist track becomes even more powerful with dBerrie’s anticipatory drops and dance party appeal.
